From the recording I'm Falling Too
This song developed from the thought of autumn leaves and how they leave their trees standing bare. Although I love the fall, I feel sad to see the summer go. I imagined a cabin and two people inside by the fire falling in love as the leaves blow around outside on a chilly day.
Lyrics
Wrapped up here you hold me tight
Fire lights your eyes sincere
Chilly breeze comes down blows round Trees release their leaves
Outside they dance around
Falling softly to the ground
And here inside I’m falling too
Every day a little harder for you
I’m falling too I’m falling too I’m falling too I’m falling too
On the edge of something new
Here before but not with you
On a blanket of red and gold
It begins and we unfold
Outside they dance around
Falling softly to the ground
And here inside I’m falling too
Every day a little harder for you
I’m falling too I’m falling too I’m falling too I’m falling too
Outside they dance around
Falling softly to the ground
And here inside I’m falling too
Every day a little harder for you
I’m falling too I’m falling too
